Linear regression modeled therapeutic alliance over all sessions, with treatment allocation, retention, other demographic factors, and baseline symptoms exhibiting no predictive value. Conclusions: Participants in a trial of CAC versus therapist-delivered treatment were equally able to engage, bond, and commit to treatment, despite comorbidity typically being associated with increased treatment dropout, problematic engagement, and complexities in treatment planning. The extent to which a client feels that they are directing therapy (Client initiative) may be an important component of change in BI and CAC intervention, especially for hazardous alcohol use.]]> Wed 11 Apr 2018 16:34:56 AEST ]]> Self-reported reasons for smoking: predicting abstinence and implications for smoking cessation treatments among those with a psychotic disorder https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:27324 Wed 09 Mar 2022 16:01:49 AEDT ]]> The impact of tobacco smoking on treatment for comorbid depression and alcohol misuse https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:13845 Tue 24 Aug 2021 14:32:38 AEST ]]> Perceived risk associated with tobacco, alcohol and cannabis use among people with and without psychotic disorders https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:13822 Tue 24 Aug 2021 14:27:22 AEST ]]> The challenges of predicting suicidal thoughts and behaviours in a sample of rural Australians with depression https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:32270 Thu 17 Mar 2022 14:36:46 AEDT ]]> Postcards in Persia: a twelve to twenty-four month follow-up of a randomized controlled trial for hospital-treated deliberate self-poisoning https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:31172 Thu 17 Feb 2022 09:25:50 AEDT ]]> Rural-urban differences in suicide rates for current patients of a public mental health service in Australia https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:9643 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:35:26 AEDT ]]> Court outcomes for clients referred to a community mental health court liaison service https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:8054 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:35:04 AEDT ]]> Evaluation of a motivational interview for substance use within psychiatric in-patient services https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1547 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:30:42 AEDT ]]> Pilot randomized controlled trial of a brief alcohol intervention group for adolescents https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1487 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:28:04 AEDT ]]> The desirable qualities of future doctors - a study of medical student perceptions https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:14577 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:22:40 AEDT ]]> Clinical indicators for routine use in the evaluation of early psychosis intervention: development, training support and inter-rater reliability https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:13271 0.65).
